I am short on time because my BUS TO BRAZIL LEAVES IN TWO HOURS. Actually less. I won't say how much less so nobody loses any sleep tonight, except maybe me, depending on whether they play shoot-em-up movies till 2 am, with loud public volume.

Buenos Aires, te quiero. Ok, Buenos Aires, you are sort of polluted and trafficky and probably way too many people live in you, but you do have a lot of nice places and unbelievably friendly people. We had a goodbye dinner last night with la familia and man, will I miss them! I love that you can go different places and meet people whose lives are very different from yours, but find a common ground and a mutual affection.

I am really excited to bust out the Portuguese! And also to see scenery that´s not dominated by buildings. I wanted to talk more about swine flu and the precautions people are taking, going to La Plata, food... but I would rather not miss my bus, so I'll let Carla do the catching up. Besos a todos, and the next time you read a post by me I'll be dropping phrases in Portuguese, so be prepared.
